Sports Personality Of The Year

One of the greatest years in British sporting history will be celebrated in style, as Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan host BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2016.

Now in its 63rd year, the world's most iconic sports awards show will recognise the standout achievers, as well as relive those must-see moments, in front of a 12,000 strong crowd, live from Birmingham's Genting Arena.

The winner of the main Sports Personality Of The Year award, will be decided on the night by a public vote. Team of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Unsung Hero are some of the other prestigious awards to be given out, while the inspirational films, emotional moments and live performances will capture all the highlights from an incredible year in which the Olympics and Paralympics memorably took centre stage.
