Twirlywoos

Climb aboard the Big Red Boat and go on a journey of discovery with the Twirlywoos, when they return for a new series of adorable antics on CBeebies.

Great BigHoo, Toodloo, Chickedy and Chick are four, fruit tea-loving, birdlike characters who have sailed from far away to visit our world.

Comical, colourful and curious, the Twirlywoos seek adventure and fun wherever they go. Whether in the real world or on their boat, they love to hide, imitate and be surprised as they discover new things.

Series two features all new episodes that continue to explore the play patterns (schemas) from series one, encouraging kids to develop a deeper understanding of simple play patterns, such as full, noisy, and rolling.

Two new characters add to the fun: Robot, who spins so fast he can fly, and The Piece Of Paper, who loves to tangle up and tumble the inquisitive bird-like creatures.

• In Monday’s episode the Twirlywoos surprise a man who’s washing his car, by covering his house, garden and car in foam.
• On Tuesday they cause havoc during an office interview by turning the office chairs round and round.
• On Wednesday the Twirlywoos manage to inflate a giant dinosaur by pumping up and down.
• In Thursday’s episode our bird-like friends meet a noisy parrot and encourage it to even greater levels of noisiness.
• And on Friday the Twirlywoos help a man put a poster up on a billboard - but will they get the order of the sheets right?
