Still Game
Ep. 1/6 -

After a nine year hiatus, iconic comedy series Still Game is back for a hilarious new six-part series revisiting evergreen pensioners Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade, as they embrace the spirit of growing old disgracefully.
Created, written by and starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, each week Still Game visits the fictional area of Craiglang, as life-long friends Jack and Victor cope with everything modern life throws at them.
In the first episode, Craiglang’s residents can’t resist the temptation of the Futuroo catalogue and its innovations to ‘make life that wee bit easier’. However, it quickly becomes apparent these gadgets do anything but.
Meanwhile, Winston receives a registered letter which sees him prepare for the arrival of his brother, Walter. As Jack and Victor spar over whose gadget is best, there’s a spot of sibling rivalry between Winston and Walter.
Later, Winston confronts Walter on the real reason for his surprise visit and Jack needs help after taking himself off for an unfeasibly long bath.
The much-anticipated return of Still Game revisits some of the comedy series’ most popular characters, including Isa the gossip; one-legged Winston; tight-fisted Tam; Boabby the barman and Navid the shopkeeper.
Still Game started life as a theatre show before moving to radio, becoming a TV sketch and then gaining sitcom status of its own in 2002. Since then, the series has become an internet hit gaining a new audience online through streaming sites and, in 2014, the Still Game live shows sold out a mammoth 21-date arena run.
Jack is played by Ford Kiernan, Victor by Greg Hemphill, Winston by Paul Riley, Isa by Jane McCarry, Tam by Mark Cox, Boabby by Gavin Mitchell, Navid by Sanjeev Kohli and Walter by Gary Miller. Still Game is a BBC Studios production for BBC One through BBC Scotland.
