Elton John, Madness, Status Quo, Gregory Porter, LeAnn Rimes, Jamie Lawson, Andreya Triana and Travis will take to the stage in front of the 50,000 strong crowd, with all the action being broadcast direct to the audience at home. Live on Radio 2 and in vision via the BBC Red Button, BBC iPlayer and Radio 2 website, the day will be hosted by some of Radio 2’s best loved presenters including Jo Whiley, Ken Bruce, Michael Ball, Jeremy Vine, Trevor Nelson, Sara Cox, Steve Wright, Jamie Cullum, and a whole host of other network favourites.

One of the hottest tickets around, Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park will also be bringing audiences some of the station’s best-loved features live and direct from the park - including a live version of hit quiz PopMaster with Ken Bruce and live versions of Sounds of the 70s and Sounds of the 80s.

Jeff Smith, Head of Music for Radio 2, says: “Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park has become a spectacular celebration of music from some of the world’s best-loved musicians. The incredible line-up of artists represents the broad range of music played on Radio 2 every day from jazz to rock, country to pop. Playing new music is important to our listeners, which is why I’m also delighted to welcome Jamie Lawson and Andreya Triana to the bill, as well as legendary acts such as Elton John and Status Quo.”
