Proms 2016 - Gospel Prom

American R&B superstar and Queen of Gospel music Michelle Williams hosts a special late night prom live from The Royal Albert Hall.

The event will include performances from Gospel singers Dawn Thomas Wallace, Israel J. Allen and Tehillah Daniel, while saxophonist and composer YolanDa Brown will share the show with musician and producer Niji Adeleye. The programme will showcase a home grown ‘super choir’ consisting of The London Adventist Chorale, The London Community Gospel Choir, Muyiwa & Riversongz, Noel Robinson & Nu Image, V9 Collective, and Volney Morgan & New-Ye, joined by The University Choir of the year Mass Choir. All will culminate with a fitting tribute to the late pastor, American gospel singer and songwriter extraordinaire Andraé Crouch. Expect an all singing, all dancing congregation that will be a BBC Prom party from start to finish.
