Outlook Inspiration Awards

Outlook, one of BBC’s longest-running radio programmes, is turning 50. To mark this milestone BBC World Service has launched Outlook Inspirations - a celebration of extraordinary people whose stories have inspired others around the world.

Live from the BBC Radio Theatre, Matthew Bannister and Jo Fidgen present a special event where they will be announcing the results and introducing listeners to the three people chosen as 'Outlook Inspirations'.

Also on stage will be a panel of international judges: BBC's Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet, Head of Facebook for Africa, Nunu Ntshingila, and actor and director Nandita Das.
