CBeebies Elves And The Shoemaker

This Easter CBeebies presents a magical treat as it collaborates with Northern Ballet for a special performance of the Elves And The Shoemaker.

Join Mr Bloom (Ben Faulks) and the Tiddlers for an exciting adventure as they try to solve a magical mystery; who is helping the Village Shoemaker make magical dancing shoes?

Every night Mr Shoemaker leaves his tools and material ready for the next day’s work, and every morning he finds the new shoes are made. But these are not just any shoes! These are magical dancing shoes – clip clopping clogs, swirly waltzing pumps and shimmery shiny ballet pointes. Who is responsible for the magic? With the help of Mr Bloom and the Tiddlers, Mr and Mrs Shoemaker find out about their magical helpers and do some 'helping' too!

CBeebies Elves and the Shoemaker was recorded at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds with local school children as the Tiddlers. This is the third year that CBeebies have collaborated with Northern Ballet; previous productions have been CBeebies Three Little Pigs and CBeebies Ugly Duckling.
