Ray (Ashley Walters) is a police officer whose wayward brother, Anthony (Tosin Cole), has been on the run for six months.

When Anthony returns unexpectedly, Ray is faced with more than one dilemma - covering not only for his brother, but also covering up a secret of his own. Ray is deep in a love affair with Anthony's ex, Lorna (Pippa Bennett Warner). Anthony, claiming to be reformed, is desperate to try and win Lorna back, and wants Ray to help him. But when Anthony discovers the real obstacle is actually Ray, the betrayal he feels leads to an explosive confrontation.
