Bing
Ep. 1-5/78 -

Bing celebrates the noisy, joyful, messy reality of life when you’re a pre-schooler. Bing stories are small but they are full of drama; everyday dramas that all young children and the grown-ups in their lives will recognise.
Bing is three years old and, like all three year-olds, is energetic, playful and engaged with the world around him. As he encounters new experiences, a combination of enthusiasm and inexperience can sometimes lead to disappointment. Bing’s constant companion is his carer Flop (voiced by Mark Rylance). Other characters include friends Sula and Pando and Bing’s cousins Coco and Charlie.
Fireworks
On Monday, Sula and her carer Amma go round to Bing’s to watch the fireworks. Bing is frightened by a 'super-bangy' rocket so Flop makes Bing an unconventional pair of earmuffs so that he can enjoy the fireworks without the bangs.
Bye Bye
Bing plays with a new orange balloon in Tuesday’s episode. But when it pops, Bing is sad to lose his new toy. Flop encourages Bing to put the fragments in his memory box so he can keep the balloon in a special place.
Swing
Wednesday sees Flop pushing Bing on the swing in the park. Pando arrives and wants to have a go too. They agree to take turns by counting up to 10, but when Pando won’t count properly, Bing gets cross and runs in front of the swing.
Blocks
In Thursday’s episode, Bing is busy building a tower with his blocks. Coco arrives and hijacks the blocks so that she can play a different game. When Charlie also wants to play with the blocks, it’s clear a new game needs to be found that they can all play together.
Ducks
And on Friday, Bing and Sula go to the park to feed the ducks. Sula gives the ducks just the right amount of food, but when Bing gets impatient and throws all his duck food into the water in one go, he gets more than he bargained for when a big flappy goose comes to gobble it all up.
