In today’s show, dance music legend Fatboy Slim talks to Steve Lamacq about his life in music, picking the songs that have been influential to him throughout his career.

Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, first rose to fame in the 1980s as the bassist of the indie rock band The Housemartins, who hit the UK number one spot with their acapella cover of Isley-Jasper-Isley's Caravan Of Love.

After the band split, Cook formed Beats International, whose debut album featured Dub Be Good To Me, which was a UK number one. In 1996, Cook took the pseudonym Fatboy Slim and achieved many hits and critical acclaim with releases including Praise You, Right Here, Right Now and Gangster Trippin’.
