Besotted by the exotic creatures he spots at auction, Shaun cleverly gets the unwitting Farmer to buy them. Back at Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun is delighted with his prank and convinces the flock that the llamas are just what they need to spice up their lives. At first, everything’s great fun, but soon their new llama room-mates get a bit too comfortable in their new home. When things spiral out of control, Shaun is forced to take action to oust the intruders and save the farm.

BBC One is to dramatise David Walliams’ book Billionaire Boy with a stellar cast including Walliams himself. The hour-long special is the fourth BBC adaptation of a Walliams novel, and follows the successes of Gangsta Granny, Mr Stink and The Boy In The Dress.

Billionaire Boy is the story of Len, who makes a billion from inventing a new toilet roll, and his 12-year-old son Joe, who appears to have everything he could want but what he really needs is a friend.

The cast includes John Thomson (The Fast Show, Cold Feet) as Len and Catherine Tate (Doctor Who, The Catherine Tate Show) as Sapphire Diamond, a 40-something hand model who still likes to pretend she’s 21 and is dating Len for his money.

Playing Joe’s shy and very nervous head teacher is James Fleet (Vicar Of Dibley, Partners In Crime) while Rebecca Front (The Thick Of It) plays Joe’s firm but fair, opera-loving teacher. There’s also an appearance from Warwick Davis (Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi, Harry Potter, Life’s Too Short) playing himself in the role of Len and Joe’s celebrity butler. Joe is played by Elliot Sprakes in his first major TV role.

David Walliams (Little Britain, Big School, Britain’s Got Talent) plays Mrs Trafe, a dinner lady at Joe’s school who is described as dirty and old and who is dreadful at cooking.

The original mad professor is back as Harry Hill reprises his role as the title lead. Set in the quintessential English village of Great Pagwell, the hour-long special sees Branestawm face money troubles when his bills are literally out of control. In order to try and pay off his debts, Connie suggests he enter the town’s best inventing competition to win a cash prize of £1,854 and a thruppeny bit - enough money to pay off his tax bill. But can he out-invent the self-professed greatest inventor in the world, Professor Algebrain?

Carol gets an attack of claustrophobia and overmedicates herself with travel pills; Trevor gets caught unwittingly trying to smuggle Rude Santas; John is involved in a running battle with a group of Germans over seating space; and Alan discovers his inner Easy Rider when he meets a leather-clad female biker.

Snowmen, reindeers and an actual donkey. It must be Christmas in the Khan household. Mr Khan is embracing Christmas like never before. In fact, he is launching his own range of traditional halal mince pies with the help of a local business dragon.

Meanwhile, Shazia and Amjad are trying to find somewhere else to live, because their landlord is selling their house and they can’t afford the deposit to buy it. Naani has a solution - she’s going to give them the money for the deposit. Her only mistake is entrusting it to Mr Khan. Mr Khan loses the money and to retrieve it, he heads to the Community Centre’s ‘Winter Wonderland’, where Dave’s putting on a show about a talking snowman that may or may not be able to fly.

Mr Khan finds himself re-creating an iconic festive scene. The story ends with a tearjerker as Mr Khan suffers a very personal loss.

Not Going Out

One last dance stands between the final three couples and the Strictly trophy.  The time has finally come for one dancing duo to be announced as the winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2015. The show begins with the fourth placed couple, based purely on the viewers' votes, leaving the competition. The three remaining pairs will perform their favourite dance from the series and then the viewer’s vote one last time to decide their favourite.  Then it will be time to find out who the public has chosen to be crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champions 2015.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without an extraordinary musical performance fit for the final and the Strictly Come Dancing celebrities of 2015 will all return to perform a spectacular group number too.

Narrated by Kate Winslet, The Snow Chick takes an intimate look at this tiny chick’s first precarious months on the ice, growing up in the world’s most extreme nursery. Emperor penguins are the only animals to breed in the Antarctic winter.

Snow Chick is ‘elbowed’ out of the baby gang, ventures too far for comfort, hides from chick-snatching penguins and avoids a scavenging petrel by the fluff of his back – all while slipping and skating on treacherous ice. Following his critically acclaimed eight-part series, broadcast in May this year, John Bishop is set to return to BBC One with a Christmas Special in December 2015.

Top of the Pops is set to return to BBC One with two star-spangled shows, one on Christmas Day and a New Year special. The festive hour-long programmes celebrating the biggest hits and most successful acts of 2015 will be jam-packed with performances from some of the best names in pop including Jess Glynne, OMI, Little Mix, James Bay, Sigma & Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.

Hosted by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates, the Christmas Day show will conclude with the all-important Christmas Number 1.

The ever-popular CBeebies Christmas Show will return to BBC One again with an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, starring CBeebies favourites Cat Sandion as Alice and Justin Fletcher as the Queen of Hearts along with a host of other much-loved CBeebies presenters. Pan-Wales youth choir Only Kids Allowed will also have a starring role.

The classic novel by Lewis Carroll has been specially adapted for the CBeebies audience, with high adventure, aerial acrobatics, laugh-out-loud moments and catchy songs featuring throughout.

Alice’s story starts at a riverside family picnic where she is encouraged to use her imagination by her family. The result is a playful journey through Wonderland, where Alice meets a colourful succession of characters and learns how to make believe.

In New Year’s Eve Fireworks, BBC One will be counting down to midnight and bringing audiences around the country all the spectacular action from the firework display from the banks of the river Thames in London.

As an extra special New Year treat for viewers, BBC One will be bringing an exclusive performance from an international music star. Details of the act will be announced at a later date.

Beckham: For the Love of the Game

One of the most iconic players of his or any generation, David Beckham returns to BBC One for a unique journey as he plays seven games in all of the seven continents around the world.

England’s most capped outfield player will show the incredible global appeal of football, joining local communities from all walks of life who play the beautiful game in some of the most challenging, remote and extreme locations on the planet.

The 90-minute film follows the footballing icon on a journey to the villages of Papua New Guinea, the foothills of Nepal, the streets of Buenos Aires, the desert plains of Djibouti to the elevated pitches of Miami and frozen wastelands of Antarctica.

David’s ambitious challenge and journey across the continents promises to showcase a rich and varied tapestry of characters, all linked together by one game, seeking to discover what the game means across the globe and how it has the power to transform lives as it did for him. Beyond the pitch, he will explore the lives of those who struggle to make a living in environments that present a daily challenge as well as those who get to live the dream when they make it to the big leagues. The journey ends where it all began for Beckham at Old Trafford, where he plays his final game with a host of internationally renowned footballing legends who he played for and against in his illustrious career.

Viewers are in for a special treat this Christmas, as popular pantomime stars put their obscure knowledge to the test in this festive edition of Pointless Celebrities.

Guests The Krankies (Mr Smee and Wee Smee), Su Pollard as Wicked Queen, and Jeffrey Holland as the panto dame, Alison Hammond as The Slave of The Ring and Robin Windsor as The Man In The Mirror, Colin Baker as Herman The Henchman amd Louise Jameson as The Good Fairy will all take to the Pointless Podium and do their best to spread some Christmas cheer for their chosen charities.

Hosted by Alexander Armstrong and his Pointless friend Richard Osman, there will be something for the whole family; children can look forward to seeing Father Christmas and there’s also a special seasonal duet with Alexander Armstrong and Kim Wilde to get everyone in the mood for the best Christmas ever.

On Pointless, each question has been put to a panel of 100 people before the show and all our celebrities must do is find the lesser-known answers. The Holy Grail is a Pointless answer – an answer that none of the 100 people thought of.
