Live and interactive

BBC Sport’s dedicated Wimbledon live page, available from bbc.co.uk/sport during the tournament on any device, will combine the BBC's full selection of 12 live video streams, radio, rolling highlights, text commentary and live votes. It's also the place to join the conversation, with all the best comments and opinions from across social media, email and SMS, alongside those from BBC Sport's expert reporters and pundits.

With the BBC's full live and interactive coverage at their fingertips, audiences can follow the action however and wherever they like – whether it's following the pre-event build up, watching that must-see event or stream-hopping to catch as much action as possible. The live page also complements the BBC’s broadcast coverage, as it can be used as a second screen when accessed on any handheld device or laptop whilst watching the main TV or connected TV in the house.

Online and catch-up

The BBC Sport website will bring audiences a column from Andy Murray in the build-up to the tournament, alongside all the latest news, analysis, draws, order of play, live scores and results throughout the Championships. There will also be a range of features – from looking at Murray’s chances of retaining his title, to marking some special Wimbledon anniversaries, such as Sharapova’s debut 10 years ago and the classic Connors v McEnroe final 30 years ago.

The site will also offer highlights, full match replays and a range of other clips. All the BBC's Wimbledon coverage broadcast on BBC One and BBC Two will also be simulcast and available for catch-up on BBC iPlayer.

Social media

BBC Sport will offer a range of activities and content across its Facebook, Google+, Instagram and Twitter accounts. This will give fans a chance to get even closer to the BBC’s coverage, presenters and special guests with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and Q&A sessions.

Live votes will be run during the Championship where fans will be able to vote via the BBC Sport website or social media on topical issues during the tournament.

The BBC will also curate the best contributions from across social media, sharing comments and user-generated content and including them in the BBC’s live broadcast and online coverage. In addition, BBC Sport will provide curated lists of the BBC’s expert journalists and talent, along with lists of the players, to help fans enjoy the Championship.

Red Button and connected TVs

In addition to coverage on BBC One and BBC Two, viewers will have the choice of up to five extra courts on BBC Red Button**. Those with a connected TV can access the BBC Sport App via the Red Button or through the on-device app store. A dedicated Tennis section will include access to the full range of 12 digital streams alongside the latest highlights and headlines from SW19.

A Live Guide to the matches taking place each day will also be available to help audiences plan their viewing. Full length replays of key matches that took place earlier in the day will also be available for users wanting to catch-up on any matches they have missed.

*HD streams available depending on your device and network connection

** The number of Red Button streams and availability will vary depending on your receiver. Further information and a full schedule will be released in the coming weeks and will be made available here.
