Tracy began playing tennis at the age of two, and went on to win two US Open crowns.

Marion Bartoli
Marion is the reigning Wimbledon Ladies Champion
- She defeated Sabine Lisicki in straight sets to take the Wimbledon crown
- She was a finalist at the All England Club in 2007
- Marion was a semi-finalist at the French Open in 2011
Jeremy Bates
Jeremy partnered with Jo Durie to win the mixed doubles titles at Wimbledon in 1987
- The pair were the first British doubles team to win the Wimbledon title for 51 years
- Jeremy and Jo are the only British pair to win the Australian Open, in 1991
- Bates reached the fourth round singles at Wimbledon twice (1992 and 1994)
- Captained Britain’s Davis Cup team between January 2004 and July 2006
Nick Bollettieri
Nick has coached some of the greatest players to grace the game including Andre Agassi, Boris Becker and the Williams sisters.
- Nick also coached Jim Courier, Monica Seles and Maria Sharapova
- He formed his own tennis academy in Florida in the late 1970s – 10 world number ones have graduated from his academy
- Nick is credited with revolutionising coaching methods in the modern game
- Bollettieri barely hit a tennis ball until his final year at high school
Pat Cash
Pat is well-known for his defeat of Ivan Lendl to claim the Wimbledon title in 1987
- Turning professional in 1982, reaching a world-ranking of No. 4 in 1998
- Finalist at the Australian Open 1987 and 1988 the semi-final of the US Open in 1984
- Pat has coached Greg Rusedski and Mark Philippoussis
- Cash was famous as a player for his serve-and-volley style
Jimmy Connors
Arguably one of the most successful tennis players of all time, Jimmy Connors won eight Grand Slam singles titles during an illustrious career.
- He has two Wimbledon singles titles (1974 and 1982) and one doubles title (1973)
- Between 1974 and 1985 he won the US Open five times and French Open four times
- His title wins came against the likes of John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg and Ivan Lendl
Mark Cox
Mark was as a member of the Great Britain team which reached the final of the 1978 Davis Cup against the USA.
- Mark reached an ATP career-high ranking of 13 in 1977
- He was twice a quarter-finalist in the Australian Open
- He reached the quarter-finals of the US Open in 1967 and 1971, and was runner-up at Queen's in 1977
Lindsay Davenport
A former world No. 1, Lindsay won three Grand Slam singles tournaments, 55 career singles titles, 38 career doubles titles and a gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games at Atlanta.
- She won the women’s singles and doubles titles at Wimbledon in 1999
- Between 1998 and 2000 she won the US Open, Wimbledon and Australian Open, and reached the French Open last four
- Davenport was an eight-time world number one
Jo Durie
Jo was ranked World No. 5 and is the last British woman to reach a Grand Slam singles semi-final, which she did at both the 1983 French and US Opens.
- Jo lifted the mixed-doubles title with Jeremy Bates at Wimbledon in 1987, and again at the Australian Open in 1991
- After retiring from the sport, Jo oversaw the early career of the late Elena Baltacha
- Her final Wimbledon appearance was in 1995, when she lost in the second round to future SW19 ladies singles champion Jana Novotna
David Felgate
Tim Henman’s former coach is a respected and experienced voice in tennis, having been involved in the sport at a senior level for more than 30 years.
- He coached Tim Henman from 1992 until 2001, in which time Henman won seven ATP titles and reached Wimbledon semi-finals in ’98 and ’99
- He has since held senior roles in tennis including Performance Director for the LTA (2003 – 2006)
Tim Henman
Tim is one of Britain’s most successful male tennis players and in a 14-year career, he reached four Wimbledon semi-finals.
- A former British No. 1, Tim reached a world ranking of No. 4
- Won silver in the men’s doubles at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and played for Great Britain in the Davis Cup from the age of 19
Goran Ivanisevic
Goran is the only person to win the men's singles title at Wimbledon as a wildcard.
- He won the Wimbledon men’s singles title in 2001
- He reached the men’s singles final at Wimbledon four times in total
Anne Keothavong
Anne is a former British No. 1 with 20 International Tennis Federation Singles titles and eight ITF doubles titles.
- Anne joined the BBC Commentary team in 2013
- Her highest singles world ranking was No. 48
- She reached the semi-finals of seven WTA main tour events
John Lloyd
John was the first British male tennis player in the Open era to reach a Grand Slam singles final at the Australian Open in 1977.
- John won three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, with two coming at Wimbledon (1983 and 1984)
- He was Great Britain’s Davis Cup captain from 2006 to 2010
Richard Krajicek
Richard made history in 1996, becoming the first Dutchman to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title, beating Malivai Washington in straight sets.
- En route to his Wimbledon victory, Richard defeated Pete Sampras
- He won 17 ATP tour titles, including at least one a year from 1991 to 1999
John McEnroe
With 77 singles titles and 72 doubles, John McEnroe is one of tennis’s most successful and recognisable figures.
- John won three Wimbledon singles titles and five men’s doubles titles
- With Peter Fleming, John earned four Wimbledon titles and three US Open titles as well as seven season-ending championship titles, which they won consecutively from 1978 to 1984
- He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1999
Frew McMillan
A previous Wimbledon Champion, Frew won three double championships with Bob Hewitt.
- Frew garnered 74 doubles titles in all
- On top of his doubles titles, he won two professional singles titles
- He also earned five mixed titles in major championship games and two US titles
Patrick Mouratoglou
Patrick is the current coach of five-time Wimbledon Champion Serena Williams.
- He has coached Marcos Baghdatis, Jeremy Chardy and Laura Robson
- He became Serena Williams’ coach in 2012
- Since Patrick has become Serena’s coach, she has won her fifth Wimbledon title, Olympic gold, her fourth and fifth US Open titles and the French Open
Martina Navratilova
Martina is one of tennis’s most successful players, having dominated her sport during a professional career spanning more than 30 years.
- She has a record nine Wimbledon singles titles and 59 Grand Slam titles in total
- She is the only player in history to win Grand Slam titles in four different decades, including a curtain-closing US Open victory in mixed-doubles at the age of 49
- She holds an unrivalled 344 tournament victories
Jana Novotna
Jana won the Women's singles title at Wimbledon in 1998 and is now a respected and experienced broadcaster.
- In her career, she won 100 titles, including 17 Grand Slams
- Jana has 24 singles and 76 doubles titles, and retired in 1999
- She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2005
Mark Petchey
Former British No. 1, Mark has also coached defending Wimbledon champion Andy Murray. He turned professional in 1988, competing at Wimbledon as well as the US and Australian Opens.

- During his time with Mark, Murray climbed more than 300 places in the world rankings
- Mark competed at Wimbledon from 1988 to 1998, retiring, due to injury, aged 28
Mary Pierce
Mary is a four-time Grand Slam champion
- Her first Grand Slam title came in 1995 when she won the Australian Open
- In 2000, she won the French Open singles title – claiming the mixed doubles title in the same year
- She is also a Wimbledon champion – winning the mixed doubles in 2005
Louise Pleming
Louise began playing tennis aged six, making her debut in ITF and WTA level tournaments in 1982.
- She has 12 ITF doubles titles to her name, including the Austrian Open
- Louise was appointed by Tennis Australia as a national touring coach in 2006
- She currently works as a touring Fed cup coach for the Australian WTA tour players.
Laura Robson
Laura is the current British women’s number one.
- She won a silver medal, partnering Andy Murray, at the 2012 Olympics
- At the age of 14, Laura won the the Wimbledon Junior Girls' Championship
- She has reached the fourth round at Wimbledon (2013) and the US Open (2012)
Sam Smith
Sam was National Champion in 1997 and British No. 1 from 1996 to 1999.
- Sam reached the fourth round at Wimbledon in 1998
- That achievement, by a British woman, was unmatched until Laura Robson’s fourth-round defeat last year
- Sam represented Great Britain in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona
Elizabeth Smylie
Australian tennis player Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Smylie enjoyed a 15-year professional career winning two titles and peaking at No. 20 in the world.
- She won 32 titles as a doubles player – two of them at Wimbledon
- She also won Bronze at the Seoul Olympics
- Liz and partner Kathy Jordan ended Martina Navratilova and Pam Shriver’s 109 match-winning streak at the 1985 Wimbledon final
Jeff Tarango
Jeff is a former US professional tennis player who won 16 singles and doubles titles during his career.
- He played doubles with former Wimbledon Champion Goran Ivanisevic
- He is a former coach of Maria Sharapova
- He is now a coach as well as a broadcaster, and joined BBC Radio 5 live in 2007
Virginia Wade
Virginia Wade OBE is one of Britain’s greatest-ever female tennis players. She is the last British woman to be crowned Wimbledon Champion, winning the title in 1977.
- She began her professional career in 1967 and won three Grand Slam singles titles
- Virginia was ranked in the world’s top 10 for 13 consecutive years
- In 1989, Virginia was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame
- Virginia became the first woman ever elected to the Wimbledon Committee in 1982
Mark Woodforde
Mark is a seven-time Wimbledon doubles champion, winning six with partner Todd Woodbridge. The pair also won the French, Australian and US Opens.
- Mark also won the US Open doubles with John McEnroe
- He represented Australia in the Davis Cup
- He is also an Olympian, winning gold in 1996 and silver in 2000
