Jane Campion, Director: "The idea of doing another series in New Zealand didn't appeal to me - I wanted a new environment and I guess I thought of Sydney because that's where detective Robin Griffin comes from and where I've lived for a long time."
Germain McMicking, Director of Photography: "It was an interesting challenge to put a new set of eyes on Sydney and make it feel like you're discovering it for the first time in the show. We consciously went about to find angles on Sydney that we hadn't seen before, that were new and interesting to us."
