Tinky Winky
The leader - but often has his head in the clouds!

- Tinky Winky’s favourite thing is the red bag, which he carries over his elbow.
- Most of all, he loves big hugs!
Dipsy
Fun, loves dancing and bouncing on his bottom!
- Dipsy is very physical. He is funky and groovy with swinging hips, always doing dance moves with his arms. He is giggly and always on the go.
- His signature move is an excited wiggle dance and he sometimes ends this by plonking himself onto his bottom.

- Dipsy loves big hugs!

The performer - she loves to sing and dance and wants to be in charge!
- Laa-Laa is a bundle of energy. She loves laughing, singing and dancing. She is very expressive and loves to go with the flow.
- Her signature move is a light-footed twirl. Laa-Laa is playful about everything, with lots of movement and energy and flapping aeroplane arms.
- When she stands, she does so pigeon-toed.
- Laa-Laa’s favourite thing is the orange ball – she loves bouncing, patting and boinging it. Sometimes she works it into her dancing.
- Laa-Laa loves big hugs!
Po
Cute, little but feisty - who flies on her scooter!
- Po is a cute, sweet, innocent character, who is often awestruck by the simplest things
- Her favourite thing is going superfast on the scooter!
- Her signature moves are a karate-style hand pose and a star jump.
- When Po stands, she has her arms behind her back and sticks her tummy out. She is wide eyed about all that is around her.
- Best of all, she loves big hugs!
Tubby Custard Ride
A fantastically fun way to make Tubby Custard. But be warned, it can get very messy!
The Tubby Custard Ride is a crazy and chaotic new experience for the Teletubbies. The larger-than-life Teletubby ride is inspired by the traditional spinning teacups funfair ride. It has lights, music and spinning chairs, but also features big pink bubbles of Tubby Custard which splat messily when they burst!
When the Narrator or Voice Trumpets announce that it's time for Tubby Custard, the Teletubbies form a line behind the Tubby Custard Ride. Next, a big pink custardy bubble emerges from the funnel of the custard machine and the ride begins!
Music plays, lights flash and the ride chugs and wends its way around the Dome. Safely seat-belted into their chairs, the Teletubbies giggle and spin as their seats follow the trail of the Custard Machine. By the end, the Tubby Custard Ride is full of yummy gloopy pink Tubby Custard.
The Noo-Noo
Domestic vacuum cleaner pet and friend to the Teletubbies...
A much loved companion of the Teletubbies, the Noo-noo is fantastic at cleaning up. In fact, there's nothing the Noo-noo likes more than snuffling globs of custard off the Dome walls and floors and even off the Teletubbies themselves, which makes them giggle lots.
The Noo-noo can be slightly disapproving of the Teletubbies' antics, shaking its nozzle knowingly, bracing itself for the inevitable messy fall-out from any Tubby Custard or Tubby Toast adventures.
The Noo-noo can also be a tiny bit mischievous sometimes, hoovering up Tinky Winky's bag, for example, then having the Teletubbies chase it around the Dome before it blows the bag back out of its nozzle!
The Sun Baby
After beating hundreds of hopefuls, 18-month old baby Berry from London plays the part of the new Sun Baby and takes over the role made famous by now 19 year old dance student, Jess Smith, in the original series. The much loved and iconic face in the sun forms an integral part of the children’s engagement with the show, featuring in every episode.
The Tubby Phone
Brand new, the Tubby Phone is a smart phone with a touch screen and a typical ring which can be heard by the Teletubbies even when they’re playing outside. When it rings, the Tubby Phone vibrates and its screen flashes with the Teletubbies’ colours, with one colour predominately flashing each time. This results in an exciting race and game for the Teletubbies to see if the right ‘Tubby answers at the right time! Once the Tubby Phone is answered, the chosen Teletubby awaits instruction and then leads the others in a merry, musical dance!
The Windmill
When the magic Windmill starts to turn, this is the signal that something magical is about to happen in Teletubbyland. As it spins, it throws out swirls of the colour corresponding to the Teletubby chosen for Tummy Tales. If the Windmill sparkles turn purple, it is time for the Teletubbies to watch children at play in the outside world through Tinky Winky’s tummy screen.
The Voice Trumpets
The Voice Trumpets are loud speakers that bring the magic of sound to Teletubbyland, and they pop up out of the ground. They make a wide variety of different noises: voices, music, sounds.
The Teletubbies always know when a voice trumpet is about to appear, because they hear the sound of it cranking up.
The Tubby Toaster
When the Tubby Toaster is ready to produce toast, it flashes with lights and music. When all the lights are lit, a slice of Tubby Toast is fired out of the slot! Magically, the slices of toast usually land on the Tubby Plates on the Tubby Table.
