Springwatch and Wellcome making nature collection
This year Springwatch has teamed up with charitable foundation The Wellcome Trust to inspire viewers to get out doors and connect with nature through an exciting new Museum of Modern Nature exhibition, which the Trust is curating.

The physical exhibition, held in the Wellcome Foundation in London, will feature objects donated by members of the public that link their owners to the natural world in some way. This will be supported by a huge digital project to create a virtual nature table, and Springwatch will be calling on viewers to support the exhibition by entering their own ‘nature table’ favourites to be considered for the collection.
Wildlife presenter Lucy Cooke (pictured) will explore these intimate stores in a series of three films for Springwatch. She will meet people with a special connection to nature thanks to a very personal belonging; a treasured item that has a personal story which unlocks a wonderful world of British nature.
