“I’d always expected to have done something for me by the time I was 50 and all of a sudden 50 appeared that hasn’t happened.”

Straight-talking Tracy from Cardiff is a part-time teacher and devoted single mum with the ambition to now do something completely different with her life. Proud of her Welsh working class roots, Tracy’s skills lay in property renovation, having worked from a young age for her father who owned a construction firm. She has since dedicated much of her time to bringing up four children - but doesn’t want to live with the regret of having not tried to do something different with her life.

For the last five years Tracy has been thinking about moving abroad, but has never been to Italy and feels this is a chance to achieve something for herself. With her construction background she would love to set up a B’n’B in Tuscany.
