"I want to learn about getting food from the field to the fork."

Over the last two decades Robert, from Southampton, has been a successful tech guru and invested in a lot of companies. But a year ago he underwent a big transformation in his way of thinking and is ready to move abroad to begin living a new, healthier lifestyle.

Since switching from corporate workaholic to a wellness guru, Robert has quit his job, lost weight and is now dedicated to healthy eating and exercise. He now invests in businesses he believes in and is indulging in his adrenaline junkie hobbies by co-owning a sky-diving business.

His next step would be setting up a health and wellness retreat abroad, where guests grow and eat their own food, practise meditation and receive life coaching.

Robert has never married or had children, and although he has dated lots he says he has struggled to find someone as open-minded and impulsive as he is. Taking part in the experience is part of Robert’s personal journey and his ambition for the series is to be able to have produced enough food at the end to feed the whole group for a day.
