The biggest night of mayhem and mirth of the year comes live from London, as Red Nose Day arrives on Friday 24 March.

The fun starts on BBC One at 7pm as a host of comic favourites, old and new, including Sir Lenny Henry, Joe Lycett, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Warwick Davis, Sally Phillips, Jonathan Ross and French & Saunders preside over a mammoth night of live comedy, sketches, music moments, fundraising films and much much more on what promises to be TV’s most unpredictable night of raucous horseplay ever.
Expect the unexpected as a night of fun, foolery and fundraising is broadcast LIVE from Red Nose Day’s new comedy superclub home. Sir Lenny Henry will launch proceedings with a very special opening sequence before the biggest comedy party on the planet gets underway with special guests, films and skits featuring everything from James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke to a special Smack The Pony reunion plus the much anticipated follow up to Love Actually - Red Nose Day Actually.
Audiences can expect special treats from the likes of Alan Partridge, whilst Johnny Vegas and Joe Lycett will be donning their aprons and running a popular pizza restaurant on site at The O2 throughout the live night. Greg Davies will even be hosting a special segment over on BBC Two from a very unique location – all will be revealed, quite literally, from 10pm in Greg Davies’ Hot Tub Half Hour.
After towelling off from that, the fun continues back on BBC One as Graham Norton welcomes a gaggle of guests to his ludicrously long supersized sofa in Graham Norton’s Big Chat Live. Night owls have plenty of late night treats to look forward to including brand new stand up from host Russell Brand who will be compering a fabulous hour of fantastic comedy with Russell Brand’s Stand Off. The laughs will keep coming well into the wee hours of Saturday morning as Noel Fielding and Jonathan Ross look back at some special Red Nose Day Musical Memories in Fantastic Beats & Where To Find Them.
As well as all of these comedy gems there will be music from three of the hottest musicians on the planet right now - Ed Sheeran, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and Emeli Sande! Plus throughout the night there will be a look at how Red Nose Day makes a huge difference to those living unimaginably tough lives in the UK and across the world’s poorest communities, and how money raised this Red Nose Day will help to change the lives of many more.

Red Nose Day Actually
Written by Richard Curtis and starring many of the original cast - including Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Liam Neeson and Keira Knightley - this special sequel catches up with the beloved characters of Love Actually, 13 years after the original film, to see what they are up to today.
Carpool Karaoke
James Corden welcomes Take That on board as he takes a spin around Los Angeles for an exclusive Red Nose Day special of Carpool Karaoke.

Films shown on the night will include Ed Sheeran meeting a young boy living on the streets and sleeping in a dug out boat in Liberia, Billy Connolly will be talking about growing older and what people can do to help, plus there will be a special film featuring a young carer from Bristol looking at a typical day and comparing it to that of her friend who doesn’t have the same responsibilities.
