Tchaikovsky Symphonies
Throughout the course of the festival, a wide range of orchestras and conductors will give the complete symphony cycle of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This will include, as well as the six numbered works, a performance of Manfred given by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi under Xian Zhang (5 September), while a further highlight will be Joshua Bell’s rendition of the Violin Concerto (21 July).
