New music

Continuing its support of new music, the BBC Proms presents 30 premieres including 16 world premieres and 14 European, UK or London premieres, and gives voice to recent and seldom performed works.

Resonate

David Sawer’s The Greatest Happiness Principal (29 July) is performed as part of PRS for Music Foundation’s Resonate scheme, which promotes British music of the last 25 years, in partnership with the Association of British Orchestras and BBC Radio 3.
