BBC Three and BBC Four
The BBC’s Factual commissioning department has reaffirmed its commitment to programmes made outside of London with today’s announcement of more than 100 hours of television due on air over the next 12 months.

BBC Three - The Line (w/t)
An intimate and non-judgmental modern-day story of the rural drug scene in the UK as told through the users, dealers and professionals working in one county.
On the one hand there’s a deep-rooted local drug world that has become part of the fabric of life in one of the most economically deprived areas in the country. On the other hand a new threat has arrived in areas often associated with summer holidays on the beach. County lines dealing from big cities is bringing new levels of violence and drug purities not previously seen. Everyone on the ground - whether police officers, hospital workers, drug support workers, local residents and even local users and dealers are united in wanting them out. But getting rid of them is not easy, as they prey on local vulnerable people to do their dirty work.
This sympathetic but realistic series shows the impact of the drugs world on a rural community by seeing the unfolding and often conflicting relationships that unfold over a long period of time.
