A David and Goliath tale told through the rhyming mind of a kid from the inner-city.
Flea is an inner-city kid. Hers is a tough world, a rough world, a kick-in-the-guts and a spit-in-your-food world. She’s small, but she’s got heart and she’s got smarts.
She loves her mum and her sis, but her mum’s new boyfriend has come and shaken up their world with violence and fear. Flea takes on this Goliath in a battle of wits versus fists, fighting for the protection of her family and home.
Flea is written by Cat Jones, an award-winning young playwright, who also writes for television and radio, and directed by Vanessa Caswill.
