Jasmin and Dev

Jasmin (Taj Atwal) and Dev (Sacha Dhawan) got married after their meddling parents decided it was time to get involved and encouraged them to tie the knot. Dev’s head over heals in love with Jasmin and, although he drives her up the wall most of the time, Jasmin’s equally as in love with Dev.

But they had little time to enjoy being husband and wife before Jasmin discovered she was pregnant with their honeymoon baby and quickly started suffering from all the negative things about pregnancy. Heartburn, piles, swollen ankles - Jasmin suffered with them all, and therefore so did Dev. But now they’ve got their baby daughter Amber and even a scare over her paternity couldn’t stop Dev from being the proudest dad in the whole of Leeds.

Unfortunately, in a moment of absent-mindedness after a very sleepless night, Dev accidentally left his new-born baby daughter in his van when he popped to the shops. Worried about their granddaughter, Jasmin and Dev’s overbearing mothers moved in with them to help them look after Amber as clearly Dev couldn't be trusted to look after her. Now poor Dev’s found himself living in a house full of women where he can do no right. But this is the least of his worries. When a visit to the hospital brings devastating news for him and Jasmin, and they find themselves facing the biggest decision of their lives.
