The Whites from Selkirk are a large, close-knit farming family who now live in the Highlands of Scotland. They “put food on the plate with love”. They’re a lively, competitive bunch always striving for top spot.
Lesley, a mother of four, lives on the family farm with her husband. Lesley has decided that, as their mother, she will be the leader of the group, “whether they like it or not”, even though her children never do as they are told.
Dizzy, a sales & events manager, lives 40 minutes from the family farm with her boyfriend. Her cooking fortes are steak pie and carbonara, and she has a big sweet tooth so loves making puddings. She is the master of multitasking and laughs at brother Struan, who is easily distracted and often burns something because of his short attention span.
Struan, the youngest of the family and the only boy, recalls being regularly put upon by his three older sisters who would hang him by his coat and ‘forget’ where he was left! Struan is the most inexperienced cook - he learnt to cook whilst being a chalet boy at a ski resort during his gap year and would regularly video call his Mum to check his dishes were cooked properly.

You will find them taking on planking and squat challenges in the kitchen, or Struan will weightlift Lesley overhead.
Angellica Bell

The reigning champion of BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef, Angellica’s intelligence, wit and warmth shine through every time.
With 17 years of network TV experience under her belt, she has emerged as a significant presenter of factual and entertainment programmes, including Ill Gotten Gains (BBC One), 50/50 (CBBC), Something For The Weekend (BBC Two) and many more. She has also been a part of The One Show since its inception as a reporter and with regular stand-ins as a main presenter.
Tommy Banks

Born and raised in Oldstead, North Yorkshire, into a family of farmers, chef Tommy Banks’s passion for food and nature flourished from a young age.
Tommy’s family bought The Black Swan just as he finished school and he started working there with no real intention of becoming a chef, but by 2013, at the age of 24, Tommy was awarded a Michelin Star - making him the youngest Michelin-starred chef in Britain at the time.
