The Abimbola-Younge team from London cook food with soul. I’m Empire is the self-proclaimed "head of the ship". Joining them is sister-in-law Diva (who is married to I’m Empire’s twin brother) and their cousin, Zhané.

I’m Empire is an LGBT activist and performing artist, and has released an album that is inspired by Michael Jackson’s album Bad and 80s music.

Diva works for the strategic arm of a housing group, and Zhané is a care educator.

I’m Empire’s love of food started when they left home aged 16. They were resourceful with anything in their kitchen. The Abimbola-Younge family pride themselves on their authentic dishes from their heritage and make sure their food always packs a punch.

When it comes to competition and other families their motto is clear: "Aim, fire, destroy!" The competitive spirit is very much alive in the Abimbola household. There could also be some friction in the team. I’m Empire and Diva can clash, especially when it comes to presentation. Diva predicts: "Pots will fly and spoons will be thrown!"

Angellica Bell

The reigning champion of BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef, Angellica’s intelligence, wit and warmth shine through every time.

With 17 years of network TV experience under her belt, she has emerged as a significant presenter of factual and entertainment programmes, including Ill Gotten Gains (BBC One), 50/50 (CBBC), Something For The Weekend (BBC Two) and many more. Tommy Banks

Born and raised in Oldstead, North Yorkshire, into a family of farmers, chef Tommy Banks’s passion for food and nature flourished from a young age.

Tommy’s family bought The Black Swan just as he finished school and he started working there with no real intention of becoming a chef, but by 2013, at the age of 24, Tommy was awarded a Michelin Star - making him the youngest Michelin-starred chef in Britain at the time.
