Gerry Armstrong
- Highest scoring player from the United Kingdom at the 1982 FIFA World Cup

Neil Lennon

Gerry Taggart
- Former player for Barnsley, Bolton Wanderers, Leicester City, Manchester City and Stoke City as well as the Northern Ireland national team
- He signed for Bolton Wanderers for a club-record fee in 1995
- Taggart earned 51 caps for Northern Ireland, scoring seven goals. He retired from international football in 2003
