The BBC Sport website will have specially extended live text commentaries of every day of the Ashes action, starting at 09.00 through to an hour after the close of play to enable the audience to follow the action wherever they are, however they want it, via desktop, mobile and tablet to a daily audience of over 1m UK browsers.
bbc.co.uk/cricket features all of the information, stats and scorecards as well as running live analysis and the best pictures from the Tests.
From every day’s play the website will have the expert analysis from TMS commentator and BBC Sport cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew, while former England captain Alec Stewart will provide video analysis and his weekly column throughout the summer.
BBC Radio 5 live’s dedicated portal, The Ashes, found at bbc.co.uk/5live is the destination for all fans, both expert and new, bring together all the station’s Ashes content in one place. From expert commentary and analysis with TMS to podcasts and downloads of shows such as Not Just Cricket – The Ashes, the Ashes portal will make this summer’s biggest sporting clash accessible to all. Flintoff’s Ashes Roadshows will also be available to download in a 15-minute highlight programme with video clips from the tour.
Via the BBC Radio Player App fans will able to download podcasts of BBC Radio 5 live’s Ashes highlights including Test Match Special, where Jonathan Agnew and Geoff Boycott will review the days play and hear from the headline makers. Plus audiences can catch-up on all BBC Radio 5 live’s Ashes programmes over the seven-week series.
