BBC Radio Ulster announces its new weekday evening line-up

Specialist music continues to be at the centre of BBC Radio Ulster’s new weekday evening line-up.

Kicking off the week, Stephen McCauley opens weekday evenings with a brand new show running from Monday to Thursdays from 7.30-9.30pm with a mix of the finest alternative music from home and abroad. Stephen’s programmes will feature live music, album features, top name interviews from the worlds of indie-rock, hip-hop, electronica, folk and more.

Draperstown musician Gemma Bradley joins ATL on Mondays from 9.30-11pm, with the promise of fresh, vibrant sounds of pop and RnB, live music and tackling social issues.

Ralph McLean brings his unique blend of music and chat from local voices, rock, soul and country, to a new slot on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 9.30-11pm.

Eve Blair helps listeners wind down after a long day with her Late Show from Monday to Thursdays from 11-12pm.

Mickey Bradley starts to gear up for the weekend with a new show on Fridays from 7.30-9.30pm, followed by Blas Ceoil at the new time of 9.30-10.30pm, rounding the day off with Folk Club with Lynette Fay from 10.30-12pm.

This new weeknight evening schedule will begin from Monday 21 October.

In addition, Sean Coyle is set to return to the airwaves next month with a new afternoon show on BBC Radio Foyle.

Beginning on Monday 7 October, The Sean Coyle Show will run on Monday to Fridays from 3-5pm until Spring 2020, and will also available on BBC Sounds and via DAB radio.
