BBC publishes latest senior manager expenses

The BBC publishes details of expenses, gifts and hospitality and declaration of personal interests for Q2 2016/2017 (July - September 2016) for senior managers who earn over £150k and/or those who sit on the BBC’s boards.

The BBC publishes details of expenses, gifts and hospitality and declaration of personal interests for Q2 2016/2017 (July – September 2016) for senior managers who earn over £150k and/or those who sit on the BBC’s boards.

Today’s publication is part of the BBC’s continued commitment to be transparent in how it is spending the licence fee and is the 27th disclosure of its kind.

A BBC spokesperson said: “Overall we have cut costs and made significant management savings so more than 90per cent of the money we control is spent on what matters most – the content and services our audiences love.”

The BBC has been publishing the salaries and expenses of senior managers since autumn 2009. The senior managers on the list are those who are paid over £150k and/or those who sit on the BBC’s main boards.
