Glyn Isherwood appointed Group Finance and Operations Director
Glyn Isherwood has been appointed the BBC’s Group Finance and Operations Director.
As we invest in our content and services and continue with our efficiency agenda, the industry knowledge, experience and enthusiasm Glyn brings to the role will provide financial leadership for the challenges ahead.
He will join the BBC in the new year from Channel 4, where he is currently Group Finance Director.
Deputy Director-General Anne Bulford says: “Glyn is highly experienced at providing long-term financial strategy and ensuring strong business performance of creative and digital organisations.
“As we invest in our content and services and continue with our efficiency agenda, the industry knowledge, experience and enthusiasm Glyn brings to the role will provide financial leadership for the challenges ahead.”
Glyn will lead the BBC’s Finance and Procurement teams, as well as taking overall responsibility for Workplace and Studioworks. He will sit on the Executive Committee.
Glyn has worked at Channel 4 since 2007, and has been Group Finance Director since 2013. Prior to joining Channel 4 he was Director of Financial Control at ITV plc.
