BBC Russian Presents: the best of the BBC on TV Rain
The world’s most widely watched motoring entertainment show; a documentary about a fascinating prehistoric discovery; a drama set in London's East End in the 1950s; a film by a world-famous journalist who explores the issue of mental illness; and War and Peace brought to life for a new generation.

BBC Russian’s news bulletin is already well-known to the audience of TV Rain, and we are very excited to broaden our collaboration.
All these, as well as a roundup of the day’s top news stories, will appear on air during the inaugural week of the BBC’s new Russian-language programme block, BBC Russian Presents, on the Russian channel, TV Rain (Dozhd).
The new Monday to Friday, 75-minute slot will launch at 18.00 Moscow Time (15.00 GMT) on 15 May 2017. Viewers of TV Rain will be able to see some of the best of the BBC’s programmes, in Russian. BBC programming will culminate every day with a 15-minute roundup of news from BBC Russian, bringing the Russian audience impartial, independent reporting of global and regional developments.

During its opening week, BBC Russian Presents on TV Rain will bring Series 23 of Top Gear, Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur, Louis Theroux’s two-part documentary By Reason of Insanity, Series 1 of Call the Midwife - and War and Peace.
In addition to these and the news bulletins, in the coming months BBC Russian Presents will bring the audiences of TV Rain more TV titles, including the drama series SS-GB, Rillington Place, The Unforgotten, more documentaries presented by Louis Theroux and Sir David Attenborough, as well as series such as The Food Detectives, Secret Cities, Doped, Forces of Nature, Adele – Live in London and many others.
