BBC Minute secures first European broadcast partnership with Rock FM in Cyprus
BBC Minute, the dynamic 60-second global news round-up from the BBC World Service, is now available in parts of Cyprus following a broadcasting agreement with radio network, Rock FM. The deal marks the first time BBC Minute can be heard on a radio station in Europe.

BBC Minute brings stories of the moment to young and connected listeners across the globe - updated every half hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week - from trending world news and sport to tech and entertainment.
From today, Rock FM will begin broadcasting BBC Minute to listeners in Cyprus, including in Limassol (89.2 FM), Paphos (98.5 FM) and Latchi (106.7 FM). BBC Minute will air on Rock FM six times a day, seven days a week.

BBC Minute launched in 2015. It now broadcasts on 18 partner radio stations in 9 countries around the world, from Lagos to Hong Kong.
This month, BBC World Service also launched new BBC Minute products called ‘BBC Minute On…’ that delve into a single subject in 60 seconds.
BBC Minute is available to download via iTunes, Spotify, TuneIn and the BBC World Service website.
