Michael McIntyre returns to BBC One
BBC One has confirmed that Michael McIntyre will return to the channel later this year with a brand new series of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

I'm thrilled to be back on BBC One with my new big show which, after several lengthy meetings, we've called, 'Michael Mcintyre's Big Show'. There will be big laughs, big stars and big surprises!
Jam-packed with celebrity guests, musical performances and comrades from the comedy realm, the six-part series will be recorded in front of a live audience in the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Viewers are guaranteed raucous laughter and a whole heap of fun as Michael hosts in his unique way.
Commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One, and Acting Controller of Entertainment Commissioning, Alan Tyler, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show will be produced by Hungry McBear Media. Executive producers are Dan Baldwin and Claire Horton.

Alan Tyler, Controller of BBC Entertainment Commissioning, says: “Michael McIntyre is a born entertainer. Not only is he one of the funniest comedians in the country but he is also terrific with members of the audience. Combining those skills in an all-new show is a real treat. We are delighted to be bringing his first Saturday night entertainment series to BBC One audiences.”
