BBC publishes latest senior manager disclosures
Today, the BBC is publishing details of expenses, gifts and hospitality and declaration of personal interests for Q1 2015/2016 (April – June 2015) for senior managers who earn over £150k and/or those who sit on the BBC’s main boards.

By 2016 we’ll be saving £1.5bn a year and more than 90 per cent of the money we control is spent on what matters most, the content and services audiences love.
Today’s publication is part of the BBC’s continued commitment to be transparent in how it is spending the licence fee and is the 23rd disclosure of its kind.
The latest quarterly expenses for the period are available here.
A BBC spokesperson said: “With the financial challenges the BBC is facing, it’s more important than ever to get maximum value from every penny of the licence fee. We have announced a series of proposals to further tighten up rules around expenses claims to create a simpler, more efficient BBC and since August 2009 we have reduced senior manager headcount and pay bill by over a third. By 2016 we’ll be saving £1.5bn a year and more than 90 per cent of the money we control is spent on what matters most, the content and services audiences love.”
