Dan McGolpin, Controller for Daytime and Early-Peak has ordered a range of exciting new factual and entertainment commissions for BBC One Daytime and BBC Two Early-Peak.
On BBC One, viewers will be able to enjoy five brand new factual formats featuring hard-hitting content, great stories and a range of popular presenters.
Ground-breaking series Ill Gotten Gains follows Regional Organised Crime Units and Police Forces systematically taking down Britain’s criminals, by seizing their assets and selling them at auction to put money back into the public purse.
People’s champion Dom Littlewood returns to screens for Dom On The Spot, where he will spend time with the officials who dole out fines for criminal offences, such as fly-tipping and speeding, and he’ll meet the victims affected by them.
In Street Auction, Flog It’s Paul Martin will work with Danny Sebastian and Irina Aggrey to raise funds for a deserving member of a local community, using hidden treasures found in their street.
In each episode of Going Back, Giving Back, Aled Jones will accompany someone on a journey back through their personal history as they seek out a way to ‘give something back’.
A pilot of United Nations Street will follow the daily challenges and triumphs of Narborough Road in Leicester - Britain’s most diverse street - where shopkeepers from 22 nationalities live and work side by side.
A new 45’ minute format of long running morning programme Claimed And Shamed has been recommisioned for a 20 episode run on BBC One and will, for the first time, feature a presenter, Ore Oduba (pictured).
For the afternoons on BBC One, Think Tank with Bill Turnbull has been recommissioned for a 30-episode run to appear later this year.
On BBC Two the schedule will be livened up with two entertainment shows to appear in the 6-7pm slot.
In Make Me An Egghead, viewers will see Jeremy Vine search for two new Eggheads, one female and one male. In Debatable, Patrick Kielty will ask members of the public to answer some really challenging questions following light-hearted but informative discussions featuring a range of well-known faces.

For some criminals, crime doesn’t pay. This dynamic and ground-breaking new series follows Regional Organised Crime Units and Police Forces systematically taking down Britain’s criminals.
How? Quite simply by seizing their assets as ‘Proceeds of Crime’ and selling them at auction to put money back into the public purse.
Each programme is based at an auction and will tell the stories behind the lots, but also the victims’ accounts of suffering at the hands of multi-millionaire criminals. Then we’ll witness criminals’ prized possessions going under the hammer.
Ill Gotten Gains sheds a spotlight on just how the police and other crime fighting agencies are hitting criminals where it hurts. Viewers will discover for real just how much cash can be recouped from Ill Gotten Gains.

Britain is handing out more fines than ever with hundreds of new offences being treated every year. But however frustrating, these fines are here for a reason - to protect us. Fronted by the people's champion Dom Littlewood, Dom On The Spot, delves behind the statistics to follow the hardworking men and women charged with upholding the law, from speed camera operators to parking attendants, from council enforcers fining dog fouling to fly-tipping, from transport police chasing fare dodgers to road tax evaders.
Dom will be on the spot accompanying these officials, exploring why the fines are doled out and questioning why we break the law on a day to day basis. He'll also be meeting the victims affected by these day-to-day crimes.

One Street, one extraordinary person and one huge sale. Paul Martin, Danny Sebastian and Irina Aggrey will raise cash for a neighbour or friend who has helped others and is now in need themselves. It’s payback time as Paul and his team scour the area for donations to sell at his pop up auction right in the very street where they live. The idea is to keep it a secret from them but will Paul and his team get rumbled? As Paul knocks on doors asking for help there is no shortage of rummaging. He's invited in to turn garages and garden sheds upside down to find donations, anything from bikes to 18th Century buttons.
Will the team reach their donation target? All will be revealed on the street as Paul auctions off the items and then steps down off of his rostrum to surprise the unsuspecting recipient.
