22 Nominations for BBC Drama in the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards

BBC Drama has 22 nominations in the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards with 12 nominations for The Night Manager, six nominations for Sherlock: The Abominable Bride, three nominations for Luther and one for War & Peace.

BBC Drama has three nominations in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category for Benedict Cumberbatch playing Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride (BBC One), Idris Elba playing John Luther in Luther (BBC One) and Tom Hiddleston playing Jonathan Pine in The Night Manager (BBC One).

The Night Manager (BBC One) also received further nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Limited Series or Movie category, Hugh Laurie playing Richard Roper, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, Olivia Colman playing Angela Burr and for Outstanding Limited Series. Both Luther and Sherlock: The Abominable Bride received further nominations for Outstanding Television Movie.
