BBC to bring the 22nd EFG London Jazz Festival to listeners across UK
The EFG London Jazz Festival returns for its 22nd year this November. For the first time BBC Radio 2 will be joining BBC Radio 3 to bring the capital’s biggest, city-wide music festival to audiences across the UK.

The two networks are working together to reflect this renowned festival as part of BBC Music, a new strategy launched earlier this year by Tony Hall and heralding the BBC’s strongest commitment to music in 30 years.
BBC Radio 3 once again launches the EFG London Jazz Festival, with special live broadcasts from the Barbican and legendary Ronnie Scott’s on Friday 14 November. The station will be presenting a diverse selection of highlights from across the ten day-long festival, with artists including Claire Martin, Julian Joseph, Branford Marsalis Quartet and John Surman.
BBC Radio 2 will also cover the Festival, broadcasting key highlights and complementary programming, with guest artists and presenters from each station exploring the world of jazz in this annual celebration.
