Stuart heads out to co-ordinate a spectacular display of sail
The Tall Ships Parade of Sail on Monday 21st July sees around 70 Tall Ships converge on the River Mersey in front of Liverpool's famous waterfront. It's a feat that hasn't been attempted since the last Tall Ships festival in 1992. Usually a fraction of that number of ships would be on the river at any one time.
It's River Pilot Stuart Wood's job to get all the ships safely on position on the river. He's also one of our mobile video correspondents and has recorded this video of himself setting off to co-ordinate the ships.
