Northen Irish but based in Scotland, Snow Patrol managed to take the gong for best selling UK album in 2006 with 'Eyes Open', mainly due to the massive success of the singles 'Chasing Cars' and 'Run'. The band's guitar driven swirl has been often likened to Coldplay, though the band claim U2 as their biggest influence.

awesome from snow patrol shame they were on so early "chasing cars" was song of the day would have been brilliant late on in show but great set from snow patrol

as always delivered a fantastic set short but very sweet chassing cars always gets the crowd going and sent a tingle down the spine of almost everyone top drawer boys
