Dick StrawbridgeA retired lieutenant colonel, Dick has presented various TV programmes, including Scrapheap, Crafty Tricks of War, Geronimo, and It's Not Easy Being Green. The 2006 series of It's Not Easy Being Green followed the Strawbridge family as they rebuilt a derelict 300-year-old property, which didn't have electricity, heating, water or toilets, into an environmentally-friendly home. Dick currently runs courses in all aspects of green living, and is regularly involved in radio and television discussions on green issues. James StrawbridgeBefore university, James took part in an environmental volunteer scheme in the foothills of the Himalayas. This led him to complete an environmental history degree. The 2006 series of It's Not Easy Being Green, allowed James to take a more hands-on approach to environmental development. He's also been involved in WasteBusters, an education programme that encourages children to think more about the environmental issues surrounding waste. With his father, James has also co-presented The Reinventors, a programme that recreated inventions such as the fire pump and Stephenson's Rocket.
