Key Facts
  • The Exhibition: A hands-on two-and-a-half hour walk-though exhibition with interactive exhibits, artefacts, audio-visual displays and simulators to explore space, travel, astronomy and the relevance of space to life on Earth.
  • The Space Theatre: A state-of-the-art, multimedia, domed theatre for stunning space shows. Highly flexible, with both an entertainment and education remit. The show lasts 20-30 minutes as part of a public visit and is included in the ticket price.
  • Challenger Learning Centre: A mission control/space station simulator designed to help schools teach maths, science and technology as well as develop team-building, problem-solving, decision- making and communication skills. Missions generally last about two-three hours.
