Well, I have no clue where the idea for a game like this came from. Yes, it's from Harry Potter, but Quidditch turned into a video game is extremely boring.

There is a 3D figure of Harry at just about every menu (he's sort of like your guide through the game). This figure looks ridiculous. As for the real game, the characters are mediocre.

First of all, there are no real ''characters''. Other than Harry, there are no names for any players in this game. There are only teams. The images of the playing field are actually pretty good. But overall, the graphics are poor.

The menu music is a bad duplicate of the music from the movie. As for the game music, there is none. The sound effects are extremely poor also. A few grunts, some bad cheering, and a slight whistling when the Quaffle (the ball) is thrown.

The game is very, very boring

You throw around a ball (called a Quaffle) and try to throw the ball through hoops (worth 10 points). After a while of that, you move on to the most important part of the game - catching the Snitch.

It's a little ball that flies around the field, and you catch it for 150 points and the end of the game. This will become very, very, very, VERY tedious.

You might enjoy it for a few minutes, but that's it! There are several unlockable modes and stuff, and even a collection of cards to earn, but you will unlock everything within half an hour and you will realise the card collecting will be useless and even more boring.

Also, the game is played on a 2D plane, rather than a 3D field like it's supposed to be. Another thing - the players move faster than the ball! So where ever you throw it, it's likely that it will be intercepted. All the teams are exactly identical, except for the colour of their uniform.

The controls are annoying and horrible

Switching players is a huge pain in the neck. The tackle and dodge commands often fail to work. It's also fairly difficult to toss the ball in the right direction, with the right amount of force.

This is not my kind of game in the slightest. If you want to hear a good review of this game, go and speak to my little brother.

3/10
