Become a world famous freestyle legend! But first you have to decide which one of the many characters you are going to be, then personalise your character by dressing him/her from head to toe with funky hats, hairstyles, jackets etc. Done all that? Good! Its time to take your funky snowboarder and hit the slopes.

It's advisable to start with the tutorials as this will teach you all the basic moves you need to know, don't worry though - the cool stuff comes later.

At first I found the controls a little tricky, but after a LOT of perseverance you will get the hang of it and you'll be twisting a turning upside down, inside out not knowing whether your on your head or your heels.

At the start of your career you're a lowly 245th on the mountain (boo-hoo!), but don't fret you won't be there long! Of course your aim is to become number one. To do so there's a lot of hard work to be done, but you are going to have plenty of fun doing it.

On each mountain you have many challenges to complete - high score which is self-explanatory - the bigger the air time, the fancier the jumps, the bigger your score.

Then you get media points. These are areas on the mountain on which you will notice a camera - do big tricks in front of this to score high media points and become a darling of the press!

As if all that wasn't enough there's a few things you have to find out their on the slopes including eight snowmen and gaps to find and clear without crashing and theirs the sponsors to impress! As well as photo shoots to go to it all starts sounding more like you're a super model then a snowboarder.

Impressing your sponsor is easy-peasy - each one having there own favourite moves e.g. rail slides, big air etc. Just do what your sponsor wants to win prizes. The photo shoot is quite easy to, do as many twists and turns through the five hoops and score high!

Amped 2 is very entertaining and enjoyable - I even found myself sneaking down in the middle of the night to have the odd hour or two - OK three!

The best thing about Amped 2 is the amount of variety, I guarantee you will not get bored. It's certainly worth the asking price and I'd have to give Amped 2 a well deserved……….
