Celebrating its fourth anniversary, Leicester Pride seeks to boldly go where no parade or festival has gone before with the Out of this World Space and Beyond theme guaranteed to bring earthly delights to the whole planet. On 19 June 2004 free event will bring together Leicestershires lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community as well as friends and families for a thrilling, fun filled day. Assembling in the city centre at 12pm, the Leicester Pride parade will begin its journey with floats, costumed dancers, live music and a multitude of revellers. Then touching down in Victoria Park from 2pm to 8pm, the festival will showcase a variety of talents on the main stage from the local and regional area.  | | Leicester Pride is the city's annual gay celebration. |
And if you feel the desire to move with the universal flow then land yourself at the Trade Dance Tent where you might even find a gravitational pull. The Leicester Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Centre will be holding workshops to aid the creative process for costume construction, decorations and otherworldly designs on Saturday 29 May 2004 and Saturday 05 June 2004.
