Despite Tuesday's 30-13 defeat against Guinness Premiership play-off rivals Bristol in a rearranged Ashton Gate clash, Leicester Tigers remain on course for further silverware.

Listen to our post-match interviews, report and highlights from the game...

Leicester now face Wasps at Welford Road on Saturday in a dress rehearsal for next month's Heineken Cup Final, with Wasps knowing that defeat will send them crashing out of play-off contention.

And it is conceivable that Leicester could even miss out themselves, although they remain firmly in control of their own destiny in pursuit of a first Premiership title since 2002.

Howard on the defeat

"The players tried very hard, and we had our opportunities, but our ball control wasn't that good. "
Pat Howard, Leicester Tigers Head Coach

Tigers' head coach Pat Howard said: "The loser on Saturday probably misses out, but both sides are pretty used to the pressure that comes with games like that.

"The players tried very hard, and we had our opportunities, but our ball control wasn't that good. It was a fantastic learning curve for some of the guys.

"I brought a side down here I thought could win, so I make no excuses. We came up short."
