 | | | | | | | | Your Story: Cherly Hamilton | | I worked in a department store that sold clothes. It was fun. I lived in a big home with four bedrooms and a big back garden. For Christmas we went to church, and after church we opened one present before Christmas. I went to college to be a nurse. For my hoilday I went to San Francisco with friends. I went to drive-in movies and concerts. I wore hippie clothes. My favourite outfit was a long skirt and printed T-shirt. I was 21 in the 1960s. It was a dollar for 6 pints of milk, 35 cents for a loaf, and 40 dollars for a week's groceries.
