anyone who thinks leeds utd will get promoted this season is mad,the only way we will go up is by getting rid of blackwell, what does he think he is doing? selling hulse and then signing an old hasbeen

Jason
Leeds are the best I will play for them and help them win devon

Will Cooper
You answered your own question Dave Wallasey. The third biggest city in England deserves a team in the premiership. Elland road used to be filled every week and the atmosphere was electric. I think fans should stop beratting the club and get behind them and support them. Also Mr WALLASEY TURN OFF YOUR CAPS

jamie moore
i thinkleeds united will get promoted this season

DAVE WALLASEY
I'M A SEASON TICKET HOLDER,I LIVE IN WIRRAL.I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE SHEFFIELD CORRESPONDENT THAT LEEDS DOES NOT DESERVE A PREMIERSHIP SIDE. IT IS THE THIRD BIGGEST CITY IN ENGLAND, IT HAS ONLY ONE CLUB YET EVEN IN THE PREM OUR CROWDS RARELY FILLED ELLAND RD. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU LEEDS PEOPLE.IS R LEAGE REALLY THE REASON?

James Collins
Atmosphere in Cardiff was electric but the team didnt turn up. Dissapointing, but it was probably a season too soon anyway. Expectation is high this season, and i truly believe that the whites can deliver and move us up to where we rightfully belong. 3 years away from home mending a broken team and we can come back with a vengence! Come on leeds fans, lets fill Elland Road next season and give our great team a boost to the premiership! MARCHING ON TOGETHER!!!

james taylor
leeds are ace there gonna beat win it this season COME ON BOYS WERE ALL SUPPORTING YA' MARCHING ON TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jeff hulatt west australia
hard luck leeds. lets give some of the young guys a chance next year the old guys will only bring us straight back down.

James Reddin
Bring Back Kewell!!!

rob hewitt
I think Leeds have done a great job considering 2 years ago they were close to liquidation.People like "Joshua" on this page sniggering saying that Leeda are staying down...Well If you are a Watford supporter then you know as well as i do that they wont stay up..The bookies online will tell you that. When Leeds manage to win,(which will be next season by the way) then we have a far bigger club to make sure we stay up there.Watford, i will be laughing when i see you play the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.....

Sue Martin
Watching the match against Watford, I was really disappointed that we didn't even look like we wanted to win.We didn't attack at all, we just sat back and defended which cost us the game. Do you think that if we played 4-4-2 we might have won? I think that Kevin Blackwell has to get us promoted this coming season or we will have to sack him. We really need some pace, and I think with some good signings we can go up. Some players I recommend are: Quinton Fortune, Stephan Henchoz, Damien Francis, David Thompson, David Weir, which would not cost much money at all as they are all out of contract or fringe players. Although that would not bring much pace. Does anyone know if there is any young pacey players coming up? Finally I think that Ken Bates has done a fantastic job for us, however the only mistake was letting Aaron Lennon go for only £1 million.

Shaun Carr ( N.Wales)
being a leeds fan, and being in the millenium stadium with all them amazing fans!! i was so proud to be leeds through and through!! leeds fans are the best in the world the team will do us proud next year!!! come on leeds!!

Danny Florida
Time for a change at the top. I have maintained that Blackwell does not hold the experience at the top level and the final couple of months have proved it. Next season will be more difficult the the last and if Leeds dont bring in some quallity and experience then i can not see them moving forward

Chris Hickey
As a Leeds fan watching in Watford, I was v disappointed, and we obviously didn't turn up on the day. The anonymous guys in this forum who obviously support other clubs should maybe identify themselves or use their time more constructively though...

nigel hills
can we have transfer news from club

Steve Piper
I would just like to say, even after the play off defeat , that I am very proud of what United have achieved this season. Kevin Blackwell has done a top class job In his time at the helm, also a very brave man to take on such a difficult job, I have been a fan for 40 years now, and I think next season we should, with a couple of decent signings, be looking good for a deserved return to the Premiership. Also I think another year in the Championship will be a better thing for us in the long run. Big thanks of course to Ken Bates, one player I would like at the club, is Willo Flood, he was at Man City, but he reminds me a little of our Billy (Bremner)Thankyou Leeds United Steve Piper

Billy , Preston
Leeds werent good enough, kevin blackwell cant deliver on the big occasions. Time for a change otherwise it'll happen again next season. As for the players there rough and ready tactics dont pay off so we should get some players in who can actually play the ball.

Tim Freeston
gutted

Richard Sheffield
Stick to Rugby League.you don't deserve a Premiership Club with the support you give the team.

chrissy yates pudsey
never mind theres always next season i think we will do it without play offs watford wanted it more than us on the day good luck to them

joshua
hahahaha u r staying down , sing you are staying down , premier league you`re having a laugh !!!!!!!!

Simon Doughty
All season long knowledgable people have been saying that Leeds have the strongest squad of players in the league. So what`s gone wrong? I like kevin Blackwell but he just hasn`t got the best out of the team. Has he took the club as far as he can? Is it now time for a change?

daz
come on you leeds !!!!!!

Dave Bowe, Sydney, Australia
Come on Leeds!!

James Manwaring
Here in Canberra listening to the mighty Leeds United playoff buildup waiting for our day back in the sun in which re richly deserve!

Dubai Whites!!!!
From a Palace supporter, hope you stuff the Hornets, they have the most overated manager and team in the premiership. All Dubai whites alert, heard Waxy OConners are giving free beers to LUFC supporters on Match Day..

Steven Emsley
Does the panel know why Leeds were given 33,0000 tickets for the final on the 21st? as i have just been on the Millenium stadiums web site and the crowd capacity is 72,500 that means Watford must have been given more tickets, or is the other 6,500 tickets for special guests that dont pay to gain entry i think the FA must have a kick back or what? ps good luck for the big day Perth WA

Blayne Treadgold
[perth, Western Australia] Comon lads, get up there! ive been copping it thick and fast from the scum, london'eads, geordies etc for the last 2 years, but i've stuck with you cos i know we'll have the last laugh, lets get up there and give em hell! Comon you whites! "We're Marching on together into the EPL 06/07" And one more thing...comon you socceroos in WC 06!!!!!

john (leeds)
Just wanted to comment on the fiasco of the ticket sales for the final. Who ever made the decisions should be sacked. The lack of Net/telesales made matters worse. But the lack of a coherent information policy for the fans is intolerable. With arrangements changing all the time and no contact to be able to clarify things the confusiion is only made worse. What of those who went to the semi final can they still get tickets on monday no one knows. Some think yes others no. Apparently there was something on the site for a brief period saying these and general sales were cancelled, then it was removed. Now it just says memers on monday no mention of semi ticket holders. If they cant get the tickets why remove the announcement? Is it just to deter them from going down? Now apparently from monday you can get a new membership and get a ticket after previously cancelling this. I bet there will be a load of fans who will go an queue for hour no doubt, i hope they won't be queing in vain. If i dont go down and it turns out they were available i would be angry as would many others.

robert (kilmarnock white)
hope we make it.but i dont think this team is good enough for premiership. i hope im proved wrong.leeds leeds leeds!

glen (milton keynes white)
cum on leeds ! we can do it ! marching on together !!

Hudders White
Hats off to the Bates, Blackwell and the boys....whatever happens at Cardiff they have done a great job this season. All the doubters and whingers would have been delighted to think they even had a chance of getting this close to returning to the Premiership. After a decade of hardly seeing them play I have been back and seen most games this season and win, draw or lose it has been great entertainment !!! Come on you Whites. One final suggestion bring back the yellow away kit!!!!

Nick of Oakwood
We are Leeds and Proud!

Nick Fletcher
Cum ON LEEDS! Give it some! Lets March On Together !

Mike
How can someone call themselves supporters when all they do is winge and whine about what was. The next few games will be the whole season, lets Unite behind the team, Marching on together. Whiners need not apply.

Paul
Healy is over rated lewis just there for the money dont care about the club creswell didnt want 2 join gregan is a legend billys boys for the prem

Chris Holland, Middleton
These last couple of results have shown that we can play to the same quality of the 2 promoted clubs, and we were easily the better side against Reading. Credit to Kev and the boys for turning it round despite violent threats and booing players off the pitch. We need to get behind the lads and win those play-offs..

Russell
Leeds will go up through the playoffs,Come on the WHITES LEEDS 4EVA

Steven Emsley
Well i have just seen on the internet that Kevin Blackwell as now been sent hate mail. What short memories some people have, i live on the other side of the world from our great city and football club, so i do not get to watch the team any more. All i would ask of my fellow Leeds supporters is to be paitent rome was not built in one day. Ok we have droped the ball over the last few games but look what the club as been through over the last 4 years. We are going in the right direction, and i know that most of our followers will see that this is correct. UNITED is in the name we need to show this in the stands and all over the world, cos we have been to the Abyss and now we are on the way back. The vocal support & passion of this great club are well known lets not shoot our selfs in the leg now.Ps i will be doing my bit over here in WA up the Whites

Nathan,pudsey
hi im a junior season ticket holder in the family stand. my point is reffering to this stupid attitude towards keeping the same team when playing poorly.it is going to cost leeds dear and i hope to god blackwell realises this beore saturday because if we play like we did against plymouth where looking at a big win to reading, lets give starts to beckford graham pugh and walton and cement that 3rd place spot!! come on leeds!!!!!!

Chris Holland, Middleton
I'm a season ticket holder and I for one have been impressed with Jermaine Beckford. He seems to be showing £1million striker Rob Hulse up (probably due to Rob been tired from a hard season with injury), and I feel it may be time to give the lad a chance to show what he can do. I'd also like to see Dan harding and Gylfi Einarsson given another attempt in the play-off run-in. Let's get behind the lads and bring back the glory days!

Florida Danny
Oh no,what excuse has Blackwell got today? I think Ken Bates must be thinking what have i done giving him a new exstended contract. I bet if Leeds dont make the play offs he will be history. Come on Leeds seems so close but so far.

Brian Yeadon
The play-offs are great for excitment and keep interest going for most clubs until late into the season but rarely do the clubs who have performed best in the league and finish third go up. What do you think of this idea -bare with me it might seem a little complicated at first. The teams that finish third automatically qualify for the play off final. A handicapped play off then takes place with clubs finshing 4th to 7th. 4th play 7th at home in a one off match, 5th play 6th at home in a one off match. The winners of these two ties play a semi-final at the home of the team who finished the highest in the league with the winner meeting a rested 3rd place finisher in the play-off final. The result is more clubs have a chance of reaching the play-offs but there remains an incentive for finishing higher up the league. This idea has been with me for some years but of course with Leeds likely to be in the play-offs it has focussed my mind. A second point, should Kevin Blackwell now give up on second and concentrate on getting the form back in time for the play-offs? It's arguable that the loan players won't be too happy about the possibility of three extra games when they could be on holiday and so perhaps it's time to play Erike Bakke back into form? What are your thought's?

Steven Emsley
Well just when we thought we were looking good for promotion it blows up in ya face. But lets face it both the two KB's have done a great job for the club in the last year+, Most people who i spoke to regarding football thought we were going to do a Shefield Wed but we have not and that is a great credit to the players and all the staff at the club.Supporting Leeds United as never been easy but would we support any other club if every body pulls in the right direction including the supporters we will get to play with the big pay packet teams. If it is not this season it will be next.Perth WA

Florida Danny
Well the first thing i did this morning was turn on my laptop and see how Leeds were doing against Hull.Oh dearit was a score i did not want to see. I am praying that Leeds make the play offs and unfortunately i think they will but will not make the Premiership. They must get it right at the top as the great City of Leeds need it. Sorry once again but Blackwell is not the man for the job.

Sean McHale
We've blown it, Leeds wobble again when the pressure is on. There is no way we will win the play offs. Another year in the Championship.

Chris Holland
I'm a season-ticket holder, and love my club. We can't be talking about changing managers or playing staff. We're at the business end of the season now, talking of change only unsettles the players. Come on the Leeds, let's get behind the lads for the rest of the season..

Matt Evans
i dont see why people are slagging off kev blackwell.he has done an amazing job at leeds.just think where we have been over past 2 years.

Florida Danny
I sent you a peice last week on What i think about Kevin Blackwell and he been a novice in management. Well a defeat mid week and a stumbling draw today about sums it up. Come on Ken we need some experience not this season but maybe next. Well mr Souness is available and others so lets get things rolling next year and get back in the prem

Richard
What about playing Fraser Richardson, lads got pace takes players on and gets to the byline well worth ago dont you think. Richard in Skipton

ryan lloyd
i wreckon leeds r doing poorly in the last few games.

Steve Follows
The past years have been heart breaking as a Leeds Fan, going to games with little hope or checking results fearing the worst. But now thanks for Blackwell and his Lads i'm filled with new hope for the club. I'm proud of each and every member of Leeds United Football Club, and we'll keep marching on together all the way back to the Premiership. Come on Leeds!

Michael
I have to say whilst I agree with giving tickets out to school children, afterall, they will be the fans of the future, I don't think that prices should be lowered for everyone else. Season ticket holders have paid a lot of money out for the season. I can sympathise with those who feel that they have been excluded from attending Elland Road due to the high prices set by Ken Bates at the beginning of the season, but I don't think it would be fair on existing season ticket holders.

CRAIG MAC ,SCOTLAND
LEEDS DEFO GOAN UP THIS SEASON!!!!!! BRING BACK THE GLORY YEARS.......

Steve Bates
...Having been a stout Blackwell supporter since a month or so after he took the job on im pleased he is now getting the credit he deserves. He has done a fantastic job turning this club round and I hope some of his doubters will be big enough to admit they were wrong and say well done both KB's. It amazes me how many people think they can do a better job or pick a better team that the manager when all we the fans see of players is how they play on a Saturday. We don't see how players perform in training, how they respond to the managers instructions etc so im my opinion to criticise something that one doesn't always know as much as you think about is ignorant and counter productive.Time to get behind all the boys now 100% for the big push and lets get Marching on back to where we belong...

Nick from Oakwood
These empty seat at Elland Road? Lets give many free to schools and colleges as an incentive for hard effort. Get the ground fuller and create interest to those who donot know the passion of following leeds. United are back!

Dubai Whites
3 quid something a month to hear the match commentry, excellent VFM just to hear Eddie`s views. Took months to work out what they meant about buying a real player for ..... 0 - 1 not a good investement, come on you whites.... on n on from the sun

Quinny
Super Leeds are on there way back to the premiership!Just need a quality center midfielder now.Koumas, jagielka maybe?

scott jackson
will im off up to see stone next week. COME ON LEEDS!

Russell
Come on the whites 2nd Blades 3rd

Ben
Shame that crowds are down but typically short sighted fans fail to appreciate that, practically, Ken Bates can't now reduce ticket prices for the final few games

Nick and Oliver Ward season ticket holders
Just off to see the lads. Come on Leeds stuff the canaries. Good luck from the Rotherham Whites

James
kevin blackwell says cum 2 home games i wnat 2 no is why ken bates is charging stupid prices for just 1 game he should lower price for these last home games

Steve Emsley
Adam & Eddie could you just please congratulate Blacki on his well earned contract, from me and every other Leeds Supporter all over the world. Who would have given us any form of a chance 2 years ago,as all the rats with big egos and bigger bank accounts left our ship. Well now we have captain Bates and Blacki are sailing us back in the right direction. From Perth in WA.

darren farrell
when is your interview with gary sprake taking place and when is his new book out ?

BBC Leeds website
Hi - Adam's answered some more of your questions... Richard: The song before kick off is Strings for Yasmin by Tin Tin Out. Paul: Gary Mcallister, Scott Carson, Dominic Matteo, Harry Kewell, Robbie Fowler, John Mcgregor, Ken de Mange, Jim Beglin, Ian Rush, Nick Barmby. Simon: Liam Miller and Johnathon Douglas we won’t know until the end of the season but one thing is for sure playing at Elland Road has resurrected their international careers with the Republic of Ireland.

Richard Huby
Hi Adam and Eddie. I was just wondering if you could be able to tell me name of the song that leeds utd play before k-o. They usually play it before marching on together. cheers

paul kennedy
who were the 10 players to have played for liverpool and leeds in the last 10 years?

Simon
Hi We are both long term LUFC fans who share an office - we constantly talk about Leeds but wonder about the prospects of actually signing Liam Miller and J Douglas at the end of the season - are we being realistic? Thanks

BBC Leeds website
Adam Pope has replied to your questions. John: I still think Leeds will go up in second place and even if they don’t they have the belief and experience with the likes of Paul Butler , Sean Gregan and Robbie Blake to make it through the play offs as they have all won promotion before. J-J: As for Richard Cresswell the fact that Kevin Blackwell says he is looking for a high quality loan striker means Cresswell is a big loss to the squad. Despite injury he has scored 7 goals and it shows that with Blake, Healy and Hulse having scored 31 between them that having four quality goalscorers keeps everybody on their toes. I still think there might be a big role for Ian Moore who has looked very good when coming off the bench recently.

robert hiscoe from old farnley
looks like its going are way if sheff u and watford keep losing get on come leeds were going up

J-J
hi, i listen to bbc radio leeds every weekend and i would like to ask you how big of a loss do you think Richard Cresswell will be having been injured for the rest of the season? and do you think it will cut our chances of gettin that automatic promotion place?

john
do you think we'll get promoted this season if you do then what way do you think we'll get pronoted?

BBC Leeds website
Hi there - Adam has put some more of your questions to Kevin Blackwell. Karl: No truth in that! Gavin: "Yes, if Chelsea don't nick them (!) we have got some exciting youngsters coming through, hopefully we'll see them in the future".

Gavin Myles
Just wondering if you know if there are any exciting youngsters coming through the ranks?

Dee
I know the main sponser is changing to bet24, so i was wondering if we will have admiral next season or is changing next season, hopefully when we are in the premiership

Karl
Congratulations Kevin Blackwell, Ken Bates and all the players and backroom staff. Keep up the good work, we'll catch sheff U before the end of the season. Also I've heard a rumour that we could possibly be taking Guiseppe Rossi on loan from Man U - Is their any truth in that Blackie?

Gary Scriven
Hi there, wonder if u can help me i was wanting to know if its possible to get a part season ticket for the rest of the season if so how do i go bout it and what sort of price would i be looking at.
