What do you like about living in Headingley?

"There are nice bars, restaurants and coffee bars. It reminds me of a nice little London suburb.

"Headingley offers a relaxed night out when you don't want to go into town.

"It's also convenient because it is close to the university."

Is there anything you dislike about Headingley?

"There are too many cars and it is difficult to park on my street."

How many people live in your house and how many have a car?

"Seven people live in my house but only two have a car"

How responsible is your landlord?

"He's easy to contact if we have a problem and he keeps the property nice, he did it up over the summer. When we first moved in he did let us know about things like rubbish days."

How long have you lived in Headingley and do you live there all year round?

"I've lived here two years but I go home to Sheffield during the holidays"

Why did you chose to live in Headingley over anywhere else in Leeds?

"I chose location over anything else it's close to the city center but it is nicer than Hyde park."

Do you find that the local community discriminates unfairly against students?

"I personally have not come across much discrimination but I have heard the odd person rant about students bringing Headingley down.

"I don't live on a rowdy road and we've not had any complaints from neighbours"

Do you think that the standard of accommodation offered to students is low?

"When you're looking at properties for more than four people it's difficult to get one that's cosy. We have been lucky to get this one.

"Also if you want one that's more affordable they're usually not as nice as the £50-£60 p/w range."
