On Sunday 22 February 2009, the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales will be hosting a day of rehearsals of Mendelssohn's Elijah, all leading to a final performance that afternoon. This spectacular FREE event will take place in St David's Hall, Cardiff, and will involve choirs and choruses from around Wales.

Sing The Nation is a festival to get the UK singing; all kinds of people singing all kinds of music in all kinds of places. From Southampton to Swansea, Hackney to Hull, Glasgow to Belfast, there will be events to tempt even the reticent, to burst into song.
